Tanker crew jobs — Strait of Hormuz
Roughly a fifth of the world's seaborne oil transits Hormuz. That traffic is crewed by exactly the ranks we recruit: deck and engine officers, ratings and cadets on crude, product and chemical tankers loading in the Gulf and trading worldwide. Applying is free.

Crews on Gulf loadings face dense traffic, heavy pilot and convoy coordination around the Musandam peninsula, extreme summer heat on deck, and a heightened security posture — security levels and piracy/interdiction advisories change with the regional situation. Owners we work with brief joining crew on current transit advisories and UKMTO/MSCHOA-style reporting requirements before sign-on. If you hold a Ship Security Officer certificate or have recent Gulf transit experience, say so in your application — it is genuinely valued.
Scam warning for Hormuz job seekers
- Real employers pay you. Nobody legitimate charges a "strait clearance fee", "port authority fee" or "guaranteed joining fee".
- Offers that arrive before any interview, with unusually high pay for low qualifications, are fake.
- Check that any agency contacting you is licensed in its jurisdiction — ours are listed on the about page.
- Never pay via wire transfer, mobile money, gift cards or crypto for a seafaring job. Report approaches to us and to your national authorities.
