Deck Cadet — Tanker Cadet Program
Cadet berths across our owners' tanker fleets. Open to candidates holding STCW Basic Safety Training; selection is on merit, and no payment is ever required to be considered or placed.
Responsibilities
- Training under officers across bridge, deck and cargo operations
- Maintenance tasks with deck ratings
- Keeping a cadet training record book
- Safety drills and onboard training participation
Requirements
- STCW Basic Safety Training (A-VI/1) completed
- Recognized cadet training program enrollment or completion
- Valid seafarer medical
- English proficiency (MARLINS or CES test preferred)
