Responsibilities
- Leading deck ratings in daily maintenance under the Chief Officer
- Mooring operations and anchor handling
- Lifeboat, firefighting and deck safety equipment upkeep
- Stores and bonded inventory control
Requirements
- STCW II/5 Able Seafarer (Deck) with bosun sea reference
- Basic Oil/Chemical Tanker Familiarization (V/1-1)
- 36+ months deck sea service, 12+ as bosun
- Valid seafarer medical
