Chief Engineer for Aframax crude tanker, Atlantic rotation. Full management-level experience on tankers required.
Responsibilities
- Total technical operation of the vessel
- Engine department manpower, maintenance and budget control
- PMS administration and dry-dock supervision
- Flag, class and vetting inspection readiness
Requirements
- STCW III/2 Certificate of Competency (Chief Engineer unlimited)
- Advanced Oil Tanker Cargo Operations endorsement (V/1-2)
- Minimum 24 months as Chief Engineer, at least 12 on tankers
- Experience with slow-speed 2-stroke main engine
